Have you ever heard of Product Hunt?
Product Hunt is a community that lets users share and discover new products. The site, which was founded by Ryan Hoover in November 2013, is backed by Y Combinator. Users submit products which are listed in a linear format by day. The site includes a comments system and a voting system similar to Hacker News or Reddit.
As of today we will monitor the tech column and showcase the best product, suggesting you to upvote them, helping them achieve great things.
Today on 17 June 2017 Product Hunt features RYSE UP. An iOs app which acts as a bridge between emerging artists and world's top talent. RYSE actually crowdsources the next big thing in music.
According to their description on iTunes: “Our platform levels the playing field to allow anyone with the talent the chance to achieve greatness regardless of their location, status, or fortune. RYSE is a place where the best call out to discover untapped talent and the driven find a pathway to capture their dreams. As an up-and-comer, you can introduce yourself to hitmakers, show them what you’ve got, grow your fans and elevate your career by collaborating with a major artist.”
As part of the RYSE community, you can be the first to discover up-and-comers and vote for who you think have what it takes to collaborate with hitmakers.
RYSE explains how it works:
- A hit-maker hosts an open search for an aspiring artist
- Undiscovered artists submit an entry video and showcase their skills
- Fans vote for their favourite submissions
- The best RYSE
- A match is made between the hosting artist and the emerging creative
- A collaborative project is created and released
RYSE uses the disruptive crowdsourcing technology so its users generate short form content. It is a better way to watch and experience user-generated content and you have a voting and feedback system that identifies quality entries. Another great feature is that branded content is delivered seamlessly for maximum impact.
