Last week I attended the first Jump on the Bus experience from the new initiative Lead Cyprus to connect the business innovators island-wide.
The initiative is organised by the two biggest entrepreneurial communities on this island – CyprusInno and Cypriot Entreprise Link.
Lead Cyprus mission is to connect and engage the ecosystem of professionals and innovators in Cyprus to promote business dialogue and democracy by providing an inclusive space in which Cypriots and all relevant stakeholders island-wide can work together to solve common economic and social challenges. Their vision is to reach island-wide reconciliation through economic dialogue and cooperation.
Watch the discussion that took place at Neapolis University Pafos. Neapolis hosted for free the members of Lead Cyprus the last minute because the Paphos Municipality failed to reply to our call for a room. Many thanks to professors Savvas Chatzichristofis, Zinonas Zinonos and Andreas Masouras for attending the meetup and contributed to the discussion.
The Jump on the Bus V2.0 will take place on Saturday 23 March 2019 and will travel across the north to east part of Cyprus, starting in Nicosia and stopping in Kyrenia and Famagusta. Along the journey we will visit various organizations, stakeholders, influencers, etc., and speak with them about island-wide challenges from their perspective.
I will be attending this event so I am looking forward to jumping on the bus with you, exploring our island together, solve problems and innovate all the way for one united Cyprus.
The Jump on the Bus initiative will help us crowdsource topics for the hackathons and the workshops to take place in July 2019 during the LEAD Cyprus Summer Camp.
