Yale School of Public Health and CARDET, within the framework of their agreement for collaboration in the areas of research, education, and development have successfully delivered the highly attended Open Education Series with title: “Designing, Funding, and Executing Responsible Research.”
Building on this success, the two organizations are offering two courses in the Fall of 2016 in Nicosia, Cyprus.
The first course is an Introduction to Biostatistics in Clinical Research and the second course focuses on Social Determinants across the Continuum of Cancer Control and Prevention. The courses will be taught by internationally known YALE University Professors, Dr. Jim Dziura and Dr. Beth Jones respectively.
The first course is for anyone interested to get a good introduction on basic statistics. Although it focuses on biostatistics, the principles of statistics apply across disciplines and anyone with interested in gaining a good introduction in statics will benefit from the course.
The second course is for anyone interested or working in the fields of biology, life sciences, pharmaceutics, and medicine including students, professionals, doctors, other medical professionals, researchers, and academics.
A completion certificate confirmed by Yale will be provided upon completion of each course!!!
