The Cyprus Research Promotion Foundation is organizing a conference on Friday 26 February, at 9:15pm at the Cleopatra Hotel in Nicosia, titled ‘ICT, FET and Secure Societies (SC7) in Horizon 2020: Open Calls and Tips for Developing Successful Proposals’.
The main objective of the conference is to inform the Cypriot research community in regard to European funding for research in the fields of Ιnformation and Communication Technologies, Future and Emerging Technologies and Secure Societies.
Participants will be able to obtain professional advice on the matter, as well as, to network with other experienced people in the field, and the potential to collaborate with other relevant European groups.
Main speakers at the conference will be the representatives of the National Contact Points Mrs Litsa Kountouridou (ICT,FET) and Lina Tsoubanou (Secure Societies) and the representative of the European Commission Annalisa Bogliolo, Project Officer, Programme Coordination Unit (DG CNECT).

Horizon 2020 is funded by the European Union as part of the budget dedicated to Research and Innovation for the period 2014-2020 of 80 billion euros.
