As Business Development Executive, you will play a critical role in growing RiseTech Media.
You will have the opportunity to develop and shape systems and strategies as you design RiseTech Media sales processes with large institutional customers, startups, research labs, universities and small business owners. You will attend various conferences and events as well as leverage your networks to significantly build the business. Priority is to assist RiseTech Media to acquire new customers and sell additional products or services to existing one.
Business Development Responsibilities
• Identifying new sales leads
• Pitching products and/or services
• Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
• Reporting directly to the CMO
Day-to-day duties typically include:
• Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
• Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
• Preparing awesome presentations and sales pitches
• Generating quotes and proposals
• Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
• Knowledge of the media industry and its current events about technology, startups, innovation
• Have a passion for selling and marketing new products
• Socially adept, Good with numbers
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• IT fluency
• Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
• Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations
• Attention to detail
• Proactive / Takes initiative; ability to work independently.
• Previous startup experience preferred but not needed.
